Your seller account

YouSellOut uses the ByMailSaaS platform for this account. We use your account details to let you sign in, manage your addresses, record your activity and save your payout destination.

Addresses and payout details

Saved address details, phone numbers and PayPal payout emails are encrypted in our database. We store a password hash rather than your original password. Bank account entry is currently disabled.

Identity checks

Identity checks are carried out by Stripe. Document and selfie images are handled by Stripe; your verification reference, result and relevant verified details may be recorded by the platform. Creating an account does not automatically start or charge for an identity check.

Merchants

Merchants do not receive access to your entire account or address book. When you choose to send items to a merchant, the details needed for that transaction will be shared with that merchant. They make their own offers and pay you directly.

Your YouSellOut account

YouSellOut provides the shared seller signup and login. You approve each merchant connection. Each merchant keeps its own customer and transaction records and only sees activity with its business. Your central identity verification status can be used across connected merchants; identity documents and other merchants' records are not shared. Creating an account does not mean your identity is verified.

You can remove a merchant connection in your YouSellOut account. This stops linked sign-in and the combined activity view; the merchant retains its transaction records under its own retention arrangements.

Account security

We use an essential sign-in session cookie and, if you select it, a remember-me cookie. We record account actions and security events. Account details and payment destinations are not included in activity-log payloads.
